  Hugh Moore ATKIN married Olive RICHARDS. Lived in the Lake Whiting area,Indiana, U.S.A. As did some other members of the ATKIN family they added an 's' to theAtkin as their surname over the years. Hugh & Olive had three children,Margaret ATKINS was the eldest and was married to Eddie BROWN. They hadno children. At some time they lived in Washington, D.C. Margaret was ateacher was last heard by the family as teaching in Maryland, possibly inthe suburb of Hyattsville. One son was Hoyt ATKINS. The other son Richard ATKIN who at one time worked for a trucking companydriving different routes to determine the quickest way between 'A and B'. Hugh Moore ATKINS had a wholesale produce business selling to independantstores. He and Olive used to Winter in Texas when they were older. As Richard Garde ATKIN(S), Hugh's father was drowned at Lake Whiting, itpossibly happened when they were visiting the family.
