- Mary ATKIN born about 1787 was the eldest daughter of Walter ATKINand Catherine DREW, married Townsend BEAMISH in 1807. An Indented Deedwas made between Walter ATKIN of Atkinville, Mary ATKIN eldest daug &Townsend BEAMISH on the 24th October 1807.

Memorial of an Indented Deed bearing thedate the 24th day of October 1807 and made between Walter Atkins ofAtkinville in the South Liberties of the City of Cork, Esq. and MaryAtkins of Atkinville aforesaid spinster Eldest Daughter of the saidWalter Atkins of the one part and Townsend Beamish of ?Mill Grove in theCo. of Cork Esq. of the other part Whereby after reciting that a marriagewas Intended and was solemnised between the said Townsend Beamish andMary Atkins the said Walter Atkins and for himself and his Heirs Exors. &Admons. aforsaid and would when ever he the said Townsend Beamish hisExecors. Admons. and afd.. a sur .. and sufficent Deed or Deeds of Rentor other Deeds as Council shall advise for an annuity or Clear Yearly Sumof 913 pounds be charged and chargeable upon the Lands of Castle Treasureand situating in the South Liberties of the City of Cork for and duringthe term of 127 years to be compiled from the 12th day of Nov 1807 whatto the Execors of the 1st of June are Rich. And Mary Foott orse Beamish orseAtkin his wife reciting a certain Deed of Settlement bearing date theTwenty-second day of December One Thousand Eight Hundred & Thirteen whereby certain Lands therein mentioned stand charged with certain Sums ofMoney therein mentiond. As a provision for the Younger Children of saidmarriage with power to said Mary Foott to appoint a sum of Two ThousandPound part & parcel there of & Reciting that by Deed of Appointmentbearing Date Twenty First December One Thousand Eight Hundred & ThirtyThree Said Mary Foott with the consent of said Thos Wade Foott exercisesuch power of appointment and thereby amongst other appointments there inspecified Appointed the sum of five hundred pound of the said TwoThousand Pound to her daughter Catherine Foott and after reciting that amarriage was then intended to be Solemnized between Thos Herrick ofCoolkerka in the County of Cork Esq and said Catherine Foott the saidMary Foott did by said Deed of which this is a Memorial Confirmed &declare irrevocable the appointment so made by her of said sum of FiveHundred Pound Irish Currency to her daughter said Catherine Foott andsaid Thomas Wade Foott did by said Deed of which this is a Memorl.
