I have assembled the information here. Apart from piecing together information left to me by various family members, I have not carried out a huge amount of original research, relying on the painstaking detail work carried out by others.

Ruck. Lawrence Ruck came to Wales from Kent. My information comes from from http://www.ancestrysolutions.com/FamilyCollectives/pedigree.php?personID=I3622&tree=1, traced back to Thomas Carter in about 1405

Atkin. Judith Kirkland, from New Zealand, who I communicated with in the early 2000s did a huge amount of work on the Atkin family in Ireland, finally tracing their roots back to Minehead in Devon in the late 1500’s. A wonderful source to plot the emigration of the cousins of the Atkin family to the USA, Australia and New Zealand in the 1800’s.

Evans. John Evans provided a vast quantity of information

Tusting and Stewart. Carolyn Goddard and Mike Sasse have unearthed a mass of information relating to the Tusting and Stewart families, and shared it all with us. There is far more information available than is shown on this site. For more archive information contact Carolyn.

Bourchier: My cousin, Tony Parkes, has generously shared information on the Bourchier families
